This is a perfect blend of nutty, creamy cheeses and apples, tucked into a wam tortilla. Golden brown and delicious! On the weekends, Eric and I enjoy hanging out together. We spend our time running, reading, sharing coffee, and of course watching football this time of year. I shop for groceries on Sunday, and if we go after church Eric tags along. Depending on the mood we can do our shopping super fast, or yes, there are those times where he is less than happy about being at the grocery store. But last Sunday's shopping trip, changed my life. Okay, I may or may not be a little dramatic. But that's the moment I laid eyes on the new Cabot cheeses. We threw one of each variety in our shopping cart. When we arrived home I could barely get the groceries stored away before Eric had the ... View Post

Green Bean Fries
After a day dedicated to s'mores, you're probably craving something green! I know I am; especially after Taste of the Nation, a night full of eating and drinking... all for a good cause, but more on that next time. Introducing the bean fry. It's a green bean, that's crispy and can be eaten with your hands! At least that's how we do it at our house. I serve these up with burgers and have been known to dip them in ketchup. Yep, you read that right-- green beans in ketchup. Bean fries are a crowd pleaser, so make sure you have enough greenies on your hands. They shrink up when cooked and if you're like us, you'll find yourself shoveling them in your mouth hot out of the oven. I can't wait to share with you what I learned from hanging out with Rachel V Photography yesterday! We had some fun ... View Post

Grilled Corn on the Cob + Win 2 Free Tix to Taste of the Nation
I'm super pumped about this weekend because Eric and I are going to Taste of the Nation in Orlando! I've heard so much about this event and saw pics of this food loving event last year from friends that attended. And it's for a great cause-- to help raise funds to end childhood hunger. More than 30 of Orlando's top chefs will be creating appetizers, entrees and desserts to share with us, and there will also be live entertainment and auctions. The best part about of this event is that ALL of the proceeds from sales go to two local charities-- Coalition for the Homeless and Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida. These two charities are important to me and I stay involved with them through our church ministry and other projects that I've participated on in the past so it's cool that ... View Post
