Hope you enjoy! 7:30AM Eric and I started our day around 7:30 with coffee and reading/blog work. I had a cup of coffee and a handful of cereal-- this week it's Golden Grahams. Love that stuff. I don't buy it often because ya know, it's not the most nutrient dense food but it gives me a little sweet something to munch on. 9:15AM The babe woke up around 9:15a so I grabbed him and snuggled with him on the porch with a second cup of coffee. Love those baby snuggles and his little monster feet. 9:30AM I convinced Parker to play in his jumper toy that his BB (my mom) got him. He LOVES to jump and play ... View Post

Falling back in love with running plus #TrainingBites
I started running in college and fell in love, which lead me to the triathlon team. Running was a place of stillness and escape for me. Being so rigid with tennis in high school, I wanted freedom. And running gave that to me. When Eric and I met, he really didn't like to run. We started running together even though he complained a bunch in the beginning. He's totally into running now, and I've found myself to be the one complaining about running.Eric's style of running is Sunday afternoon at 12 PM, 95 degrees and humid, and because we run together, I've endured the sweat sesh, because as he says "it's making me stronger". Okay, that is not my type of running. It kinda puts me in a cranky mood. This weekend we ran the Miracle Miles 15K (9.3 miles), ... View Post
