Ingredients
- 1/4 cup coconut oil, softened or melted
- 3/4 cup natural almond butter
- 1/4 cup ground flaxseed
- 2 ripe bananas, smashed
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/4 cup old fashioned oats
- 1/4 cup semi sweet chocolate chips (vegan if need dairy free)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Coat 8 inch square pan with small amount of coconut oil or cooking spray.
- In large bowl, mix together coconut oil, almond butter, flaxseed, banana, and maple syrup.
- Stir in baking powder, salt, and oats.
- Pour batter into pan and spread evenly.
- Top with chocolate chips.
- Bake for 25 minutes and allow to cool for 45 minutes before slicing. Slice into 16 bars.
